The principal is responsible for the educational leadership and management of our school. Greta McCann, our dedicated principal is committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students and strives to build a vibrant community that values diversity. In addition to the principal, our school has 3 assistant principals as part of the school's executive team. The assistant principals are Caterina (Green Team), Andres (Blue Team) and Jyoutsna (Yellow Team).
Our school administrative staff can answer enquiries or direct you to the appropriate staff member for help. Vicki is the school Business Manager and Bernadette and Maria are our School Administration Officers.
Les Powell School has 10 classroom teachers and 21 school learning support officers (SLSOs), including a number of health support SLSOs.

In addition, our staff also includes itinerant support teachers, a swimming specialist (Tania) and a school psychologist (Sahar). We are supported by a regular team of casual teachers and SLSOs.
All teaching staff meet the professional requirements for teaching in NSW public schools.
