Our school implements Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL), as a school-wide approach to promote a safe school environment and promote positive behaviour.
PBL focuses on establishing a context-specific framework to ensure consistency relating to expectations within different school environments including language.
PBL supports student behaviour through a whole school approach towards the creation of safe, effective teaching and learning environment. Behaviour expectations are explicitly taught using consistent language and positive student behaviour is reinforced. The PBL expectations at Les Powell School are to be : Safe, Kind and Good Learners.
